Laser Tattoo Removal

Pre-treatment instructions

Please follow these instructions before your appointment to ensure your laser tattoo removal treatment can be carried out safely and effectively.

🌿 Avoid sun exposure or tanning (including sunbeds or fake tan) for at least 14 days before treatment

🌿 Keep the treatment area clean and free from products on the day of your appointment. Do not apply lotions, oils, makeup, or skincare products to the area

🌿 Do not use retinol, glycolic acid, AHAs, BHAs, or active skincare products on the treatment area for 7 days prior to treatment (chemical peels should be avoided for 14 days)

🌿 Do not pick, scratch, or irritate the tattoo area before treatment

🌿 Avoid waxing, chemical hair removal creams, or skin treatments on the tattoo area for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment

🌿 Avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment, as this may increase skin sensitivity

🌿 Stay well hydrated before your treatment, as healthy skin can respond better to laser treatment

🌿 Inform your practitioner of any medications, medical conditions, or skin changes before your appointment

🌿 Arrive with clean skin free from makeup, creams, oils, deodorant, or fake tan

🌿 A patch test may be required prior to treatment depending on skin type, tattoo location, medical history, or previous laser treatments. Treatment will not proceed if an adverse reaction occurs.
